Closure: A8 Greenock Road, Inchinnan between Red smiddy roundabout and Inchinnan Drive roundabout.
This closure will be in force from Monday 7th February 2022 until Friday 11th February 2022.
Closure Reason: Construction of shared footway and associated works.
Alternative routes: Barnsford Road – Inchinnan Drive or vice versa.
This will prevent us from accessing India Drive to service contract 5585s, pupils will be picked up and dropped off at the end of Allands Avenue at its junction with Fountain Crescent (see attached image). Gibson Direct vehicle would use Inchinnan Drive to Fountain Drive to fountain Crescent using the second roundabout to turn which will allow the pupils to board and alight the vehicle without the need to cross any roads. We would also need to operate this contract around 10 minutes earlier than normal to allow for the alteration and the expected increased traffic on the diversion route therefore pupils should arrive at the pick up point 10 minutes earlier than usual.
