Park Mains High School

Hi, I am Greig MacKinnon and I am the Careers Adviser at Park Mains High. I am in school most days and am supported by Glenda Nulty another Careers Adviser on a Tuesday and Thursday. We work for Skills Development Scotland and we support pupils from first year all the way through school and beyond to help them into the career of their choice. We work a lot with senior pupils to support their career planning and to help with applications to College, University and Modern / Graduate apprenticeships.

Our website www.myworldofwork.co.uk has lots of tools and advice for pupils and parents to support with option choices, writing cv's and finding out about your skills and strengths to help find suitable career paths.

Pupils can arrange interviews via their pastoral care teacher or directly. We are happy to support parents with advice. Parents and carers are a big influence on pupils so we would love to involve you in supporting pupils to find the best path for them.

Below are my contact details and please feel free to contact me. In school I am based in my office in the school library.
