On the evening of Monday 21 March the fourth annual Young Musician of the Year competition took place in the Assembly Hall. The audience was entertained with the finalists of this year’s competition following auditions by many entrants. It was a fantastic evening and the judges had a difficult time deciding on the winners.
Junior –

3rd Allan Petrie – Guitar

While the judges were deliberating the audience was treated to some pieces performed by the three previous senior winners of the competition – David Small, Robyn McKay and Andrew Herrington (pictured below).
