Modern Languages
Over the last few weeks our Modern Languages department has run a couple of events which proved very successful for our pupils.
French restaurant visit
Before the September weekend a group of S4 pupils visited a French restaurant in Glasgow and were given the opportunity to taste such delicacies as snails and frogs’ legs. The pupils all enjoyed the experience and were as ever a credit to the school.
German Language Adventure
This week some students from The Goethe Institute came in to the school to work with S2 pupils. During the morning pupils were organised into groups and took part in a range of fun activities to increase their language skills. It was a very enjoyable event for all who took part.
