We had a field visit from Education Scotland today and a number of meetings took place. Fiona Robertson from Education Scotland met with the Senior Management Team for two periods and we discussed aspects of information which I had submitted previously. Ms Robertson later spent one period with staff from the English department to discuss self-evalution procedures within the school. She also met with a group of young people and the focus of their meeting was leadership. The group comprised of S5 and 6 pupils who are all Duke of Edinburgh Young Leaders. Ms Robertson was particularly impressed with the pupils whom she met.
