On Wednesday 14 March, pupils from S4, 5 and 6 were invited to dine at an award-winning French restaurant.
Pupils were greeted by French waiter Richard who welcomed everyone into the restaurant in French. Pupils enjoyed chatting to him and telling them about their experiences learning French and any trips they have been on to French speaking countries. Pupils ordered their drinks in French and were excited to see the buffet arrive.
Everyone was keen to sample les grenouilles and les escargots! They were pleasantly surprised and glad to have tried some traditional French cuisine. Alongside these delicacies, pupils enjoyed boeuf bourguignon, poule à la crème, gratin dauphinois et des légumes. Délicieux!
