Job overview
Scottish based Aircraft Maintenance Organisations (AMO) have partnered with the Scottish Government and two Technical Colleges to create a unique pathway to achieving an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA Part 66 licence. This qualification is recognised worldwide and, enables the holder to work on various aircraft types and under many National Authorities throughout the aviation sector.
What will I learn?
You undertake a 4-year structured training programme that leads to a certified Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering. You will attend College full time for the first year to attain an SVQ level 2 and NC in Engineering and in years 2–4 you will be expected to achieve a minimum SVQ L3 in Engineering.
What qualification or qualities are required?
The successful applicant will have a minimum of National 5’s in English and Mathematics. In addition to this, will also have gained a minimum National 5 in an Engineering Science/Technical basis subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and/or Craft and Design. As part of the recruitment process you will require to complete an on-line and practical aptitude test.
£13,000 – £13,000 per year Glasgow Full-time (40 Hours)
