Calling all S4 & S5 pupils…
Though we, as a school, are as committed as ever to providing our pupils with opportunities that allow them to make a successful transition to the world of work, the current circumstances mean that for many work placements, as we understand them, are not currently possible.
However, some organisations are now seeking to fill this gap by offering free virtual work placements. The opportunity below relates to Engineering but if you sign up to the Uptree website, there are other placements in the STEM, Construction, NHS and Finance sectors.
Pupils should sign up for this opportunity themselves (though please me know so I can record that you intend to complete a work placement as well as liaising with teachers to ensure that they know you will not be participating in remote learning on those days)
