Road Safety

There is continuing concern re pupils crossing at the large Centreholm roundabout to access the shopping centre particularly at lunchtime.  This has been raised at the “Erskine & Inchinnan Community Safety Partnership” which is made of representatives from the local community: local councillors, police, Renfrewshire Community Safety Team, Community Council and other agencies. This issue has been raised with pupils at the Christmas Assemblies.  There will be a concerted effort by the police, Community Safety Teams and the school early in the New Year to ensure pupils are using the safe routes provided. Please speak to your child re this and for their own health and safety, strongly encourage them to use the safe routes.  This a very busy roundabout and it is dangerous for any child to be crossing over this roundabout to get to Bridgewater.
