This week saw Renfrewshire Council launch the #YouDecide campaign. It is a community choices scheme where 1.2 million pounds will be spend on roads and infrastructure projects decided by Renfrewshire citizens, including young people. The campaign will run until the 14th November.
This is an opportunity for our school community to make suggestions for things you know are needed in your area – as an example it could be road safety ideas, new cycling or walking routes, cycle parking/shelters, improvements to roads, footways or footpaths. It could also be better access to parks and green spaces, improving access to local amenities or public transport. #You Decide!
Any idea can be submitted but people are being asked to think big as projects can be up to 50k.
