Job Title: Finishing Plant Operative (Summer Temporary Cover)

Location: Inchinnan Business Park
Date : June 2018 for approx. 12 weeks
Reporting to: Finishing Plant Manager
Rate: £7.83 per hour
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.15pm
Friday, 7.30am to 12pm
38.75 hours per week
Job Responsibilities
The management of resources:-
- To increase the value added to our products by continuous improvement initiatives through adopting the principles of lean manufacturing.
- To administer and adhere to all company Quality Assurance programs and procedures
- To provide a safe and tidy working environment within the Finishing Plant at all times.
- The care and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- To achieve production yields within their budgeted figure.
- To achieve budgeted coating quantities and the associated wastages.
- To ensure the integrity of computer stock values associated with the Finishing department including: Reject stock figures (ASW) Work in progress (ASW)Skills Required
- Resins & chemical stock figures (ASW & manual stock counts)
- Soft cloth stock figures (ASW)
- A positive approach to continuous improvement
- An enthusiastic and motivated team player
- Demonstration of Our Company Values (Teamwork Accountability, Quality, Customer Focus)
- Basic computing skills
