Department Aims & Objectives

In a rapidly changing world with many difficult issues to be addressed locally, nationally and internationally, the importance of Social Subjects cannot be underestimated. Through the study of Social Subjects young people will develop their understanding of the world by learning about other people and their values, in different times, places and circumstances. With greater understanding comes the opportunity and ability to influence events by exercising reformed and responsible citizenship.
