The Parent Council have agreed to help fund the purchase of 20 new keyboards for the music department. The Parent Council recognise the benefits of access to good quality musical instruments and are happy to support this initiative. Pupils and Staff of the music department have already raised a significant amount of the money required and the Parent Council have agreed to fund the remaining £1850.00 to allow the purchase to go ahead.
The last fundraising opportunity for 2017 will be at the School Christmas Concert on 12th Dec. The parent council will be running a café offering teas / coffees / soft drinks at the interval and organising a raffle.
Donation of raffle prizes can be made at any time to the school office. Volunteers are also required to help with the café.
In 2018 the Parent Council plan to organise a sponsored hill walk with parents, children and staff to raise additional funds for other additional equipment. More details to follow but if you are interested please contact the Parent Council.
