In Art & Design we are engaging the pupils with work that can easily be completed at home. Assignments so far have included research tasks, drawing household objects, exploring colour with found objects, portraiture and analysing famous artwork.
Our seniors (NAT 5, HIGHER and ADVANCED HIGHER PUPILS) are busy working towards completing their folios and resources should have now all been collected from school to allow them to work on this at home. If pupils haven’t collected their resources yet, please contact their teacher ASAP.
We have been issuing assignments for 1st, 2nd and 3rd years on Mondays with the return day of Friday and have been taking the opportunity to have online lessons with each class throughout the week. All pupils should be aware of their timetabled online lesson which will happen on a weekly basis throughout this period of remote learning – if they are unsure please contact their teacher.
On top of this we have been busy creating lots of online resources to support the pupils with their assignments, these can be found on our new YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels.
