As a Bus Engineering Apprentice for McGills, you’ll get the opportunity to repair and maintain all kinds of vehicles, making sure they roadworthy and safe. As well as getting hands-on experience in the workshop, gaining experience of engine replacement, electrical work and welding, you will attend training at GTG to complete your apprenticeship in Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance.
What will I learn?
You will train through GTG Training to complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Bus & Coach Engineering & Maintenance.
What qualification or qualities are required?
Maths, English and either a Science or Craft subject at National 4 or above, Standard Grades 1-4 (Intermediates will also be accepted).
The willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Enthusiasm and a proactive approach.
