To support Renfrewshire Council’s community by carrying out maintenance/ repairs work across our property estate which can include schools, care homes, offices and housing stock. You will work as part of a wide team who comply with the Council’s customer care code and supports the community who work, live and learn across Renfrewshire.
What might a typical day in this job look like?
You will be based at our Underwood Road Depot, and will work across all Renfrewshire Councils property estate including housing stock, schools, care homes and offices. To carry out maintenance / repair work across our wider estate which can include schools, care homes, offices and housing stock.
To work as part of a wide team and comply with its service pledges supports the community who work, live and learn across Renfrewshire
What qualification or qualities are required?
3 x National 4 qualifications at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
These can be in any 3 subjects including English Maths, Graphic Communication etc.
Electrical apprentices must have passed the SECTT entry test prior to commencement.
Genuine interest in the construction industry.
Aged 16 – 24 years at the start of apprenticeship.
Must be a current resident of Renfrewshire.
